Who's Your bra?

The new Breast Cancer support campaign has begun with a commercial where women (presumably having fought or are fighting breast cancer) ask the viewing audience who their "bra" is...meaning support, in their time of need.

Does this kind of advertising help us better relate to people with breast cancer?
Aide in our sympathy by comparing it to something every female can concur with?
Does it shock us into awareness?

Who knows.
